What size can you make it?

There is virtually no limit on the size that we can make items. We cut from solid block of foam that are 2.6m x 1.2m x 1.2m, or 8' 6" x 4' x 4' so a large project can contain a number of parts.

How much will it cost?

Each project is priced individually, taking into account whether a drawing or design needs to be created, the size and complexity of the project, the quantity required, and the coatings and finishes, if necessary.

How long will it take before it's delivered?

The size and complexity of the project determines the delivery date. For most items, we aim to deliver in 5 - 10 days from order placement. If the lead-time is short, we try, where possible, to meet the deadline.

How is it delivered?

The items we create are cut from blocks of polystyrene foam. The outer part of the block acts as packaging during shipping or storage. We use post, courier services, parcel distribution and haulage companies to deliver the completed articles to you.

Is polystyrene the same as Styrofoam?

Styrofoam is a trademark of Dow Chemical Company, but the word Styrofoam is often used as a general term for expanded polystyrene foam (EPS).

Are there different types of polystyrene?

People are usually familiar with white polystyrene, found as packaging of electrical goods. This is expanded polystyrene, known as EPS. Another type is extruded polystyrene, known as XPS. It is often coloured and has a closed cell structure.

Are you sure you can make it from Styrofoam?

There are many items that are perfectly suited to being made from Styrofoam or polystyrene. Our portfolio presents a snapshot of what we have created in the past, and hopefully give you some inspiration.

What is a walk-in shower?

Usually, this a door-less shower space with glass or mosaic tiled walls, and options including seating or shelving.

What is a wet-room?

It is an area that acts as an easily-accessible bathroom or showering space, with a common floor drain.

What file types do you accept?

If you already have a drawing of your design, then we can receive artwork in most vector format formats including DWG, DXF, EPS, AI, PLT, PDF and CDR.

How do we pay for it?

We accept all major credit cards, cheques, electronic transfer, Paypal and cash payments.

Is your surname really Hollywood?

Yes it is, otherwise this company could have been called something like "Irish Polystyrene Products", "3D Designs in Foam" or "We Should Have Been Based in the USA".
