Bord Gáis Energy now intend to supply both Natural Gas and Electricity to householders and businesses alike with the launch of their “The Big Switch” campaign. They guarantee that householders can save a minimum of 10% on their electricity bills, compared with ESB, and invite people to switch energy suppliers using website.

Working with Direction@JWT, Public relations and marketing consultants, we designed, created and installed the big switch props for the events held at St. Stephen’s Green and the Shelbourne Hotel. We used polystyrene foam to create the 3D switch, the support stand, and hand-held signs, as it is lightweight and easy to transport. If it had been a windy day, this could have caused problems with the large sign, but we included a base which had been weighed down to keep the photo prop stable.
The launch attracted numerous national papers and television stations covering the event. They included TV3′s 5.30 evening news. The image above is a screenshot from the news story. To watch the full news feature, click the play button below.

Hi Linda, thank you for your comment.
The big switch is quite simply a super sized light switch that we measured and to cut to scale using polystyrene foam. The prop was coated with an aluminium paint and glued to a backing panel which was also made from polystyrene foam. The Bord Gáis logo and website address were attached to the front surface.
If its more info about cheaper electricity then check out they have plenty of details their.
